Our mountain cabin is located in “Bäcköra”, Hamrafjället in Tänndalen. The area of Bäcköra is a small village consisting of 23 houses located at the far end of Tännån, about 300 meters from Tänndalen’s Skilodge and lifts. The cabin (build 2022) combines modern architecture whilst blending in the traditional mountain style with all comfort one needs (and a bit more). With 94 m2 (approx. 120 m2 floor area) with 8 beds, well equipped kitchen, own terrace and skistorage as well as sauna and fireplace, it is a place where active families can enjoy it all. From the cabin, it is an easy glide to the slopes. When it’s time to end the skiing day, you glide easily through the forest and over a nearby bridge that takes you back to Bäcköra cottage village. In the summer, you have the wild next door to hike or bike.

Tänndalen is located near the Norwegian border and is often described as the most genuine part of the Swedish mountains. It offers the country’s longest ski season, which often lasts from October to May. The area offers winding snowmobile trails, 300 km of groomed cross-country trails and exceptional downhill skiing with Funäsberget, Tännäskröket, Tänndalsvallen, Kappruet and Ramundberget on one and the same lift pass.
Nestled in the greenery of the mountain valley by the rippling Tännån is our cabin located. In Bäcköra you have walking distance to the lift, restaurant and grocery store, while the wilderness is accessible around the corner.
