Bäcköra is a cosy, quiet area with new houses just a short walk to the slopes in Tänndalen. You will also find ski rental and sports shop, three children’s areas, two snow parks and eight restaurants / cafés close by. Common to all restaurants is the cosiness factor, the high quality as well as the passion and respect for the area’s ingredients.

Bäcköra is on the edge of the area map of Tänndalen, just passed "Fjällbruden". You will basically pass Hamra livs on your way to the slopes passing the bridge. The map shows you all nearby facilities.

There is also Hamralivs just 50 meters away to do your shopping. The store is about 700 square meters in size and has a mixed assortment that is controlled according to the season. Here you will find groceries, track cards, local goods, delicacies and much more. Adjacent to the shop there is a café for coffee-hungry customers and tired skiers. If you want to pre-order goods, email a list via e-mail to bestallning@hamralivs.se. The goods are picked up at our loading dock and paid for with Swish. Please pre-order your food no later than three days before you want to pick it up.

There is also an ICA Supermarket in Funäsdalen in case you need something more. It is just a 20 mins. drive. They also offer online food shopping and pick up in boxes nearby.

Fjällnäs, Sweden's oldest mountain hotel, is an exclusive sanctuary where you can relax and eat fantastic food only 4km away. Cross country or hike there. In a relaxed environment, right at the water's edge to Lake Malmagen, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Here you get the energy to take on demanding tours but also the calm that comes afterwards.
