Tänndalen is located near the Norwegian border and is often described as the most genuine part of the Swedish mountains. It offers the country’s longest ski season, which often lasts from October to May. Tänndalen downhill skiing
Tänndalen's alpine world is a sparkling white buffet at high and snow-sure heights. Every winter, four to five meters of natural snow descends over the ski area, which stretches through the entire valley from Hamra in the west to Svansjön in the east. The alpine ski system in Tänndalen serves as many as 54 varied slopes, both above and below the tree line. In Tänndalen there is a ski rental and sports shop, three children's areas, two snow parks and eight restaurants / cafés. Cross country skiing
Tänndalen's beautiful mountain environment offers endless opportunities for cross-country skiing, both on the bare mountains and in the valley. There are 300 kilometers of groomed cross-country trails here, which gives a hard-to-beat variation. Here is the opportunity to choose a trip according to the weather and choose a valley or mountain. Off piste skiing
Tänndalen's ski area offers plenty of lift-borne off-piste and the mountain peaks are always close. Tänndalen and Funäsfjällen are one of Sweden's most underrated summit hikes. Here are 60 peaks over 1000 meters and cool slopes that are perfect for summit hikes in the winter sun.
Skipasses
Together with Funäsberget, Tännäskröket, Tänndalsvallen, Kappruet and Ramundberget, Tänndalen offers high-class mountain skiing in 143 slopes on just one ski pass. This ski pass also includes evening skiing.
